1. A Report on A Cricket Match
I witnessed an international one day Cricket match a few days ago, which was played at Roop Singh Stadium Gwalior between India and Pakistan. At first Pakistan took the batting. It was all out for 250 runs. It was a very big score but every body talked about the victory of India. India in the beginning was in a critical position because it could score only fifty runs in fifteen overs losing the wickets of Saurav Ganguli and Rahul Dravid. But Sachin Tendulkar and Azharuddin played dynamically. Their partnership made 151 runs. Sachin was out for 197. After Sachin, Ajay Jadeja took the charge of batting. By his fours and sixes he pushed India to win the match. At last India won the match by six wickets. Sachin Tendulkar was declared the man of the match. Although Pakistan lost the match yet they played very well in almost all the fields. The match was very interesting from its beginning to the end. Many turns came which the people watched with wonder and applanse.

2. A Report on the 'Annual Athletic Sports Meet'
The Annual Athletic Sports Meet' of all the university students was held at Maharani Laxmi Bai National College of Physical Education, Gwalior for a week from 15th December to 21st December. The senior and junior teams of Athletics of various events: races, throws, long and high jumps etc. of seven universities- Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Sagar, Rewa and Gwalior took part in the meet. The weather was fair, fine and favourable throughout. The meet was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of Jiwaji University Gwalior. Almost all the officials, contingents and the Principals of local colleges were present at the inaugural function. In the inaugural address, the Vice Chancellor laid emphasis on games and sports and advised the competitors to take part in the meet with sportsmen's spirit. He also thanked the Physical College authorities for providing the tracks and fields and the assistance of the members of the staff to organise the meet in Gwalior. He requested the spectators to welcome and encourage the guest athletes. Before the commencement of the inaugural function there was a colourful March Past of the athletes of the seven universities lined up in an alphabetical order.
Throughout the whole week, keen competition among the athletes was seen in different events. A lot of enthusiasm was found among the athletes and spectators. Such sports meets create a spirit of healthy rivalry among the competitors and we hope that some new records will be established events every year. The closing function was held on 21st December at 4 P.M. at Roop Singh Stadium. At that time the Chief Guest was the Youth and Sports Minister of M.P. who gave away prizes, the last day an at home was arranged for players, organisers and guests. medals and of merits to the athletes, players and organisers. The prize distribution of Man Singh College Gwalior was held on January 6 with great enthusiasm and gaiety. Great preparations were made to make the function attractive and successful. The Chief Guest, the Governor of M.P. arrived at 2.30 P.M. He was received by the Principal and the members of the staff. He was given a Guard of Honour by the NCC cadets. The function began at 3 P.M. in the main hall of the college. At first, a welcome song was sung. Then the Chief Guest was garlanded amidst cheers and clappings by the assembly. After that some cultural items were presented which were highly appreciated. The Annual Report of the college was read out by the Principal. He then requested the Governor to give away the prizes.
After giving away the prizes, the Governor made a short speech. He congratulated the prize winners and encouraged those who could not get prizes. He warned the students to pursue a right path to complete the courses of their studies and not to fall prey to any of such forces which have divided the society on the basis of caste, race, religion, language and region to meet their narrow ends. He also requested the learned professors to guide the students in the right direction to achieve the real goals of education. In the end, he thanked the college for inviting him to preside over the function. The Principal thanked the Governor and other distinguished guests for the trouble they had taken. National anthem was played and with that the function came to an end.

4. Write a brief report on the Oath taking ceremony of Your College Union
On 13th August, the Distt. Collector came to our college to perform the Oath Taking ceremony of the College Students Union. He came at 4 o'clock in the evening. He was given Guard of Honour by the N.C.C. unit of the college. The function started by garlanding the idol of Goddess Saraswati. The principal read a brief report of the college and told about the various activities performed under the auspices of the past union members. Then the oath taking started. The President, The Vice President, the Secretary, the Literary Secretary and the Games Secretary took oath in the above order. First of all, the Collector read the oath and the office bearers repeated them one by one. In this way the whole function ended after the Presidential address made by the Collector. He asked the Union Members to work whole heartedly for the betterment of the college. In the end the Union President Shri Rakesh Mohan thanked the Collector and the audience. Thus the function ended gracefully, after a brief at home.

5. Write a brief report on the N.S.S. Camp organised by the College Students
Once a group of students of M.L.B. College Gwalior with their professor went to a village, Sitholi for social work. They met the patel of the village and after due salutation, they explained their purpose of their visit. They told the Patel that they had come to the village to build an approach road and to start an educational centre for the women and children of the village so that they could know the ways of healthy living and could also learn to read and write. The patel wondered to know that they wanted to do all this in a fortnight. The patel doubted their efforts and told that they would prove magicians if they could do as much as they desired. At this the boys told that only honest work could fulfil their dreams. The patel told them good bye and went his way towards the village. Later on the boys started their work. The students worked whole heartedly to achieve the desired aim. They constructed the above mentioned approach road and opened a centre for adult education. The villagers helped the students very much and only with their co-operation, the students could complete their work as scheduled.
